It seems like woodburning is so overlooked in the green building industry. Maybe because there nobody knows of efficient woodburning alternatives?
Masonry Heater fireplaces squeeze 24 hours of heat from a short, very hot 2-3 hour burn, and pollute much less because they burn at temperatures up to 1700 degrees in hot coals!
